  • Has 15,611 home visiting volunteers.

  • Has 2,430 trustees.

  • More detail on what we do

  • Our mission and beliefs

We can help:

  • Provide facts and spokespeople on our work with families.

  • Research facts and spokespeople on related issues such as isolation, physical and mental well being of parents, linking with other family support services.

  • Give information about current fundraising and publicity campaigns: eg Home-Start's Big Tea Party, volunteer and trustee recruitment campaigns.

  • Provide photographs of our work - see our photolibrary for jounalists and editors.

  • Celebrities and their agents who would like to support Home-Start. Stories from celebrities already involved.

quote

I became a Trustee of Home-Start in 2000 simply because I so wished I had had the support of a volunteer during those very terrible times in my life....although I came through it all, I could have easily tipped over the edge. I don't want anyone else in my position to have to cope on their own.
