Home-Start Caerphilly Borough East manager has worked recognised by 10 Downing Street
The dedication of Margaret Salerno, manager at Home-Start Caerphilly Borough East, to helping families in her local community was recognised at a reception for community leaders, hosted at 10 Downing Street.
Margaret was invited to the reception on 14th January 2009 by her local MP, Don Touhig, who is also president of Home-Start Caerphilly (pictured on the right with Margaret). He said, "I was delighted to invite Margaret to the reception, she is passionately committed to helping families receive all the help and support that they need. Home-Start has helped so many people over the years and I am pleased that the dedication and efforts of Margaret have been recognised."
During the reception Margaret had the opportunity to talk with the Leader of the House of Commons, Harriet Harman who praised the work of Home-Start.
Margaret said: "As our president Don is hugely supportive of our work in the community. I am grateful to Don for the invitation; it was an honour to be able to promote Home-Start at Downing Street."
