Well done to our Royal Parks marathon runners

On Sunday 12th October the first ever Royal Parks half marathon took place in London. The route took 12,500 runners through some of the most beautiful royal parks in the centre of the capital, including Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James's Park and Green Park.

Four supporters ran for Home-Start UK (pictured here) and so far they have raised a fantastic £2,417 between them! One of the runners, Jeremy Waterfield, said, "This was one of my all- time great experiences: running a tourist's dream of a circuit on a golden, early autumnal Sunday morning, with cheerful crowds urging you on. Raising just over £700 for Home-Start seemed the least I could do for the chance to be part of it all. Thanks for inviting me!"
