Laura Loan and Angela Morrison, two mums both supported by Home-Start Dunfermline's family group, felt that they had got so much support from Home-Start, they wanted to give something back.
Just two weeks after giving birth, (within six hours of each other), Laura and Angela were facing a 100 foot quarry drop. In fact Angela didn't stop at one abseil, she had another go, whilst Laura used the experience to conquer her fear of the abseil itself.

Angela said: "We both felt that we get so much out of the group, it didn't matter if it was only two weeks after the birth, we wanted to get involved."
Laura added: "That morning we just turned up and did it- but once was enough for me. We do get so much from the group it was worth it."
Angela and Laura joined 12 other people for the abseil, and between them have raised over £1,000 for Home-Start Dunfermline's family group.
Home-Start Dunfermline's senior coordinator, Joyce Munro said: "I am so proud of them, they said they wanted to do it as they get so much support. Laura was petrified, she had to overcome her own personal worries to take part."
