Joe Calzaghe reaches out to support the UK's leading family support charity
Super Middleweight Boxing Champion and BBC Sports Personality of the year- Joe Calzaghe, has given his support to Home-Start's national fundraising event, The Big Tea Party, by signing a copy of his autobiography, 'No Ordinary Joe'. As patron for Home-Start Caerphilly, Joe is aware of the vital support Home-Start offers its families.
Joe says, "I have two teenage sons and know first hand just how demanding it can be looking after children."
Home-Start - the UK's leading family support charity is holding its national fundraising event The Big Tea Party, between the 1st and 31st May 2008, to help raise thousands of pounds for families and children who are struggling to cope with one or more children under the age of five years. As part of the month- long campaign, an ebay auction has been set up to raise the profile of the campaign and much needed funds.
