Home-Start Lincolnshire nominated for national award Home-Start Lincolnshire has been shortlisted for the Guardian newspaper's prestigious National Public Service Awards and will attend the awards ceremony in London this November. The local Home-Start, which provides a vital service to its community, has been named on the shortlist of three in the ‘Transformation’ category. This category celebrates teams which have demonstrated an exceptional level of application, innovation and achievement, and that have delivered substantial improvement in a public service that has made a real difference to people’s lives. This certainly sums up the life-changing support Home-Start Lincolnshire's team of volunteers and staff give vulnerable families across the county. Home-Start within Lincolnshire has successfully transformed from eight individual schemes into one organisation and now ensures the whole region benefits from their unique approach and support.
