Local Home-Starts across the UK are supporting 29,170 families, giving parents the support they need to gain confidence and overcome problems.

Now, Home-Starts in Wyre Forest, Sutton and Meon Valley have been featured in a special Home-Start edition of the Community Channel’s ‘My Brilliant Moment’ series.

And what could be more brilliant than Home-Start?

According to new research over half of people don’t realise just how many families are being forced to cope with more than one problem. You've been sharing your thoughts with us on Facebook about why people underestimate the number of families stuggling, and Home-Start UK is worried that feeling they need to hide their problems is stopping people from finding the support they need.

This is why films like this are so important. Not only do they show the incredible work that Home-Start volunteers do across the country, but they also let people know that help is there.
