About our appeal

Right now thousands of young children are experiencing hardship or tragedy through no fault of their own.

Many families need support to get through some very tough times and this is where Home-Start can help. Sometimes we are their last chance.

You can raise money any time you like for the Snowflake Appeal®. But we go big on it from 1 November to 31 January each year. You will help us reach thousands of children across the UK.

Fundraise for the appeal

There are lots of ways to get involved, from having a snowflake cake sale to organising a snowflake crochet get-together. Email your fundraising question to [email protected] or check out our fundraising guide.

If you are running your own event, taking part in a fundraising challenge, or simply want to ask your friends and family to donate, then set up your own fundraising page.

You can also support the Snowflake Appeal by buying our snowflake merchandise including bunting, hairbands, Christmas cards and more. Browse our shop.

Make a one-off gift of whatever you can afford by clicking on the ‘make a donation’ button. Or you can donate to Home-Start UK in a quick and easy way – by text message.

Just text "HSUK15" and the amount you would like to donate (for example £2, £5, £10) and send your text to 70070.
