A clothing company launched by two stay-at-home mums is now supporting Home-Start’s life-changing work with families.

MAMA INK will now donate £2 from each sale to support Home-Start UK.

Founded by Laurie and Dominique, MAMA INK is based in Surrey and Cardiff and celebrates everything mums do by creating comfy and stylish clothes.

Dominique from MAMA INK added, “We have chosen to support Home-Start UK as the work that they do it incredible and inspirational. So many families need crucial help and Home-Start UK are able to provide that to them. It is something that it very close to us, and we so happy to be able to support in anyway that we can.”

Anita Frith, Home-Start’s senior fundraising development manager, said “We’re very grateful to MAMA INK and to Dominique and Laurie for their incredible support. Across the country, Home-Start is helping 60,000 children in 30,000 families. Home-Start puts a trained volunteer at the heart of the family, in the home, to help them cope with challenges such as post-natal depression, isolation, physical health problems, domestic abuse, and bereavement. They will help parents improve their confidence and build better lives for their children. It is fantastic that MAMA INK will be helping us to reach even more families.

Laurie from MAMA INK said, “Our designs are inspired by badges and awards as we believe parents deserve to be rewarded and acknowledged for their (often superhuman!) efforts. It was also important to us that our products be environmentally friendly and that parents could wear them knowing their baby and themselves would not be exposed to harmful toxins - so our products are selected from fair trade, fair wage manufacturers who only use organic or recycled materials”.
