National homewares retailer Dunelm announced a two-year fundraising partnership to support Home-Start UK on November 1st 2016.

The partnership sees Home-Start’s Snowflake Appeal merchandise being sold in Dunelm’s 150 stores, as well as colleagues taking part in local and national fundraising events over two years.

Local Home-Starts have also had the chance to work with Dunelm stores in their area to promote their work within their community.

In the first year of the partnership, Dunelm raised £281,162 for Home-Start UK.​


Investec Wealth Management

Investec Wealth Management sponsor the carol concerts in London and Northern Ireland to include the after event celebrations. These annual events are now part of the Home-Start calendar and are anticipated eagerly by many supporters. Investec also fundraise to support our work across the year through their staff and clients which provides invaluable and much appreciated income.


Kiddi-Caru nursery chain

Kiddi-Caru have supported Home-Start for many years with fundraising events such as cycling up mountains! Their entire chain of nurseries now hold a Snowflake Day every year encouraging parents and staff to support the appeal. Kiddi-Caru staff have become part of the Home-Start team in raising awareness and funds to support families and children.


Love Knitting

This global on-line crafting company has supported the Snowflake Appeal through its huge customer base and staff alike. Promoting the crocheting of snowflakes subsequently given out to Home-Start families to decorate their Christmas Trees and subsequently making crocheted snowflake brooches for people to make and sell, raising much needed funds at the time of the year we experience high demand for support.


Molly Makes

Perhaps the most popular crafting magazine ever are supporting the Snowflake Appeal with snowflake give-aways and on-line fundraising.


Hobby Craft

The biggest name in high street crafting, Home-Start is delighted to say that from this September there will be a Snowflake Crafting Kit on sale within the Kirstie Allsopp range with a donation of 50p to the appeal for every kit sold. Raising brand awareness for the appeal with their loyal customer base. We are also currently talking about each shop holding a Snowflake Day in November 2018. Details to be confirmed.


Walter & May

Supporting Home-Start and the Snowflake Appeal, this is the second year of the partnership. Walter & May are an online flexible and supportive selling platform for small UK creative businesses, selling high quality handmade gifts and goodies.

Walter & May will be running a Christmas competition again this year, where all proceeds will be given to Home-Start UK. They will also be donating 10% from the sale of specific products sold within their ‘Supporting Home-Start UK – Changing children’s lives’ page on their website.


MAMA INK

MAMA INK a clothing company founded by two mums Laurie and Dominque. Based in Surrey and Cardiff. MAMA INK celebrates everything mums do by creating comfy and stylish environmentally friendly clothes.
They have chosen to support Home-Start’s life-changing work with families and raise funds for Home-Start UK by making a donation from each sale of clothing.


Mother Feels

Mother Feels is a company created by mother of two, Joanna Thompson, who after having two babies 14 months apart, decided to turn to pattern as a form of stress release and self-reflection, focusing on creating print patterns based on the different emotions that come with motherhood.

This company will be creating A4 prints and postcard packs to sell via her website www.motherfeels.bigcartel.com with the aim to encourage mums to share and express the huge range of feelings that parenting brings.

They will be supporting Home-Start by giving a donation to Home-Start UK for each A4 print and postcard pack sold.


Kirstie’s Handmade Craft Fair

Supporting Home-Start’s Snowflake Appeal for a fourth year at The Green, Hampton Court Palace. This craft show is a wonderful event selling lots of handmade products and kits. It is the perfect arena for us to raise awareness of Home-Start and a great opportunity to sell our Snowflake merchandise in the lead up to Christmas!


The Fmly Store/Selfish Mother

This is very much a family business. Created by Molly Gunn, founder of Selfish Mother with input from husband Tom Mangan, a music producer. Self-ishMother.com is a blogzine for like-minded women, created in 2013 by Molly Gunn, soon after she had her second son. What started as an outlet to 'fess up what she really felt about motherhood, Selfish Mother has grown into a brand recognised as a force in the New Mother Movement. Selfish Mother's #GoodTees were created with the simple idea that selling clothes shouldn't just be about profit - they should do good, too!

Selfish Mother will be supporting Home-Start UK by making a donation from the sale of each #SOLIDARITY top. Each top will have ‘Selfish Mother #GoodTees supporting Home-Start UK’ in the neckline.


Softwire

Softwire is a London based IT Engineering Company who specialise in creating solutions for business both large and small. Their clients range from The Telegraph to London Transport and everything in between. The very supportive staff at Softwire have been raising funds for Home-Start UK for the last five years as well as helping other charities. The team at Softwire remain committed to the work of Home-Start and has provided pro-bono support through the development of an app to enhance the work of our volunteers as well as raising thousands of pounds in support of our vulnerable children and families.


Black Truffle Company

The Black Truffle Company have chosen to support Home-Start’s life-changing work with families and raise funds for Home-Start UK by making a donation from each sale. The Black Truffle Company offers people the chance to invest in a black truffle farm in Spain, a sustainable alternative investment that can help the environment and local community.
