*** Application deadline extended - Friday 14th July ***

Are you involved with Home-Start as a member of staff, a volunteer or trustee? Is there a charity, business or organisation that you admire and want to visit and learn from?

Whether you are looking for funding to travel to the other side of the world to study the approaches of a different culture, or if you are just looking to cover the costs of your local train travel Home-Start UK are launching the Margaret Harrison Travel Bursary to give you the opportunity to travel and learn new skills to bring back to your Home-Start.

It was Margaret’s wish that, at a memorial event to celebrate her life, a collection should be taken in aid of a travel bursary enabling a national or local Home-Start, either in the UK or elsewhere, to learn new ideas taking place in one or more other communities.

The bursary is available to all national and local Home-Starts and will be awarded to members of staff, trustees and volunteers until the total collection of £4,500 is fully allocated. The maximum allocation for each bursary is £2,000. There is no minimum limit for funding.
