Sadly, in every classroom there will be around 1 in 3 children not ready or able to learn. In the most disadvantaged communities, that number is even higher. Without help, many never catch up. When a parent is dealing with isolation, poor mental health, money worries or the impact of abuse, everything can feel more challenging. The small things that help a child feel ready for school can become difficult to put in place. Our school readiness programme has shown that with the right support, parents can build the routines, confidence and connection that help a child arrive at school feeling safer, calmer and ready to learn.
