About our appeal

Right now thousands of young children are experiencing hardship or tragedy through no fault of their own.

Many families need support to get through some very tough times and this is where Home-Start can help. Sometimes we are their last chance.

You can raise money any time you like for the Snowflake Appeal®. But we go big on it from 1 November to 31 January each year. You will help us reach thousands of children across the UK.

Home-Start at Kirstie’s Handmade Fair

Home-Start UK will be at Kirstie Allsopp’s Handmade Fair from Friday 15 – Sunday 17 September, helping to raise money for this year’s Snowflake Appeal.

As the official charity of the Kirstie’s Handmade Fair, you will be able to find Home-Start UK’s stand at E42.

You’ll be able to buy Snowflake Appeal gifts, as well as Christmas cards, to support the 2017 Snowflake Appeal.

Finally, you will be able to enter this year’s free prize draw to win tea with Kirstie. You will be able to enter the draw at our stand, with the chance for you and five friends to have tea with Kirstie Allsopp at her home in London or Devon.

18.3 Online Catalogue

18.3.1 Descriptions
We endeavour to ensure that the items and descriptions provided in our online catalogue are accurate. Please note that all sizes are approximate and colours and designs may vary. Please see our Returns clause below.

All orders are subject to availability. If the item you have ordered is not available we may send you a similar alternative. Any substitutions will not affect your statutory rights.

Deliveries are normally dispatched within five working days; however please allow 28 days for delivery.

18.6 The Contract of Sale
The purchase is not made until you have completed the online payment order form and you have accepted these terms and conditions; you can download and print these terms of trade. Receipt of your order will be acknowledged in writing, usually by email.
