Getting the money to Home-Start UK:

Online fundraising

If you set up an on-line fundraising page, money pledged there will be sent to Home-Start UK automatically. Check out our Online Fundraising Guide for more information about setting up your own fundraising page on our website, or using Just Giving. 

Offline/ traditional fundraising

When you have finished collecting the funds raised from your event, we suggest you bank the money and then send a cheque or postal order for the total amount made payable to Home-Start UK to the address below. Please also consider Gift Aid (please read Gift Aid section below) as this could add approximately 25% to the value of your donation. Unfortunately we can't accept cash by post.

Please don't forget to include your name, address and some details about your event. If you have been collecting sponsorship from individuals (e.g. for a sponsored head shave), rather than donations/payments (for cakes at a bake sale or tickets for an event), it is important that you please enclose your sponsorship form, so that we are able to re-claim any Gift Aid.

If you have raised money as part of a challenge event (run, trek, etc), there are specific arrangements on where and when to send in the money.  Please check the information in your welcome pack for more details, or you can email us for more information: [email protected]. You will need to send in your completed sponsorship form (this applies to offline donations only) along with a cheque/postal order for the total value of sponsorship you have obtained.

Bank Transfer
You can bank the money you have raised and transfer the money to Home-Start UK by bank transfer. If you would like to arrange this please email us at [email protected]

Getting the money to a local Home-Start:

Please find the contact details for your local Home-Start here.  You'll need to speak to them directly to arrange how your funds can be paid in. 

If you don't have a Home-Start close to you, please choose Home-Start UK or another local Home-Start to raise money for.
