I would like to support families who have young children because they might be going through challenging times. I would like them to once again have hope in their lives and therefore planting hope in their hearts. This fundraiser will also be my volunteering section for my Silver Duke of Edinburgh award.
Lodestar Accounting have chosen to support Home Start as part of our long term commitment to supporting local and national charities and good causes.
As a father or three boys I am in the fortunate position of being able to provide for all my boys. This isn't the case for everyone, and it isn't right that as we move into the festive period there are parents not only worrying about how they're going to provide a Christmas for their children but are now faced with decisions about how the feed their children and heat their homes.
In lieu of flowers at the funeral, we are inviting people to consider making a donation to Home Start instead: a charity she dedicated a decade of her life volunteering for.
