Home-Start volunteers understand how hard it can be to be a parent. They work alongside parents, usually in their own homes, to help them cope with the stresses and strains of life and make sure they have the skills, confidence and strength they need to nurture their children. Read more
Many Home-Starts run specialist groups to provide further support, and social connection, for parents. They may also run groups for babies and children so that they can play together, while also giving parents a chance to meet others going through the same kind of experience. Read more
